Description
I was hoping to spot some Vancouver Island marmots while on trip to the area but thought my chances were slim given their endangered status. At best, I hoped to spot them in the distance through binoculars. And that is how we spotted quite a few. But we were extremely lucky to get to see some pretty close. This one in particular, we saw a few times over the few days. He was quite inquisitive and would pop out nearby to watch us for a few minutes before moving on to graze.
